About this deal

Hades rarely made appearances in the household, in fear that the other gods would notice that he had a son and a daughter. June 15, 2006 - Percy, Annabeth, and Grover arrive at the Lotus Hotel and Casino. They do not leave until June 20, five days later. January 13, 2011 - Magnus Chase dies fighting Surt on the Longfellow Bridge and is taken to Valhalla

Jason didn’t have much choice. He sat across from Antinous while more ghosts crowded around, leering as if they expected to see a particularly vicious arm-wrestling contest. After the battle against the Giant Army, Percy is raised on a shield as the Roman campers chant "Praetor!", electing Percy to the position, much to the irritation and unhappiness of Octavian, who wanted to be praetor himself. At the Feast of Fortuna, he gives Percy his tattoo marking his first year of service to the legion. He later pronounces ill omens and that Camp Jupiter will have hard times, but will be saved by an unexpected hero. Peering through the olive bushes at the top of the rise, he saw what looked like an out-of-control zombie frat party.

Order in which they should be read first

This otherworldly demonstration of Nico's sheer rage when unleashed upon those cruel enough to invoke it was one of the most frightening events in the series. Suffice it to say that no one and nothing would be wise to provoke the son of Hades. Percy had stayed aboard to watch for threats from the sea, but he hadn’t liked the idea of Annabeth going on this expedition without him – especially since it would be the first time they were apart since returning from Tartarus. Jason, Piper, Leo, and Hedge confront Lycaon. They are saved by the Hunters of Artemis, who then escort them to the palace of Aeolus.

Meanwhile, Reyna Ramírez-Arellano, Nico di Angelo, and Gleeson Hedge are falling from the sky with the Athena Parthenos above the volcano, Mount Vesuvius after Shadow Travel. Nico is too exhausted to shadow travel again, so Reyna helps by lending him her strength, which is a power of children of Bellona. They shadow travel one more time to Pompeii, where they lay camp for the night since Nico is unable to travel anymore. Coach Hedge takes first watch as Nico and Reyna go to sleep. Piper winced. ‘You’d think that would keep a guy down. What about all the others? Why are there so many?’ That night, Percy dreams of King Minus, King Cocalus and Daedalus. He also dreams of Luke Castellan and his army who are lost in the Labyrinth.Randolph and Skofnung dissolve because the former brought out the sword in the presence of women (Sigyn, Thrynga, Sam, and Alex) As the son of Apollo and a descendant of Apollo respectively, Will and Octavian are distant relatives.

The next day, Percy found Nico spying on Bianca and Zoë arguing about what happened to Phoebe in the early morning. Nico later saw Percy after he removed the invisibility cap, and thought it was cool. Nico told Percy he didn’t sleep too well and wanted to follow Bianca on to the quest, but Percy said he couldn’t because she could die, making Nico say Percy could go for him. Nico and Percy argued until Nico asked if he was planning to go anyway, and Percy said yes. Nico said he wouldn’t tell on him, but he had to promise he had to keep Bianca safe. Percy promised, and Nico said he would make an excuse up to Chiron, and told him to go. Percy and Annabeth fall into Tartarus after Arachne drags Annabeth to the edge of the pit and Percy tries to save her. Summoning Deceased Souls: As shown in The Battle of the Labyrinth, Nico can summon the souls of the deceased by digging a pit, and filling it with food (though animal blood can also be used), and chanting in Ancient Greek. Hazel Levesque mentions Nico when thinking he could help cure Apollo’s scratch. Apollo mentions him when thinking his condition can not be cured with the combined efforts of him, Will, and Pranjal. He is also glad he is not at Camp Jupiter.Meanwhile, on the ground, Octavian reloads one of the onagers, not realizing that his robes have snagged in the mechanism so that triggering the onager will launch him to his death as well; Will, seeing this, attempts to dissuade Octavian from triggering the device, but Nico, and Michael Kahale, who has appeared on the scene, realize that they cannot stop Octavian and that in fact, it is desirable, even necessary, that he should die. Michael interposes himself between the onager and the two Greek demigods, draws his sword, and deliberately allows Octavian to launch himself to his own death along with the onager's explosive payload, which hits Gaea just as Leo blasts her with fire, doubling the fireball's destructive force and rendering Gaea, like her husband Ouranos, permanently dispersed and powerless. Antinous slid a golden goblet and a platter of food across the table. ‘I didn’t expect to see you here, Iros. But I suppose even a beggar can sue for retribution. Drink. Eat.’ Power Over the Undead: Nico can reanimate skeletons, summon Skeleton Warriors, put them to sleep, and destroy them. In The Battle of the Labyrinth, Nico was able to permanently banish Minos to the Underworld. In The Battle of the Labyrinth, he was able to summon over a dozen skeleton warriors all by himself. This is a powerful ability as it allows him to have an army anytime he wants. Summoning too many undead warriors at one time can cause fatigue, but by The House of Hades, he can summon a significant number without exhaustion. As shown in The Blood of Olympus, when he is angered enough, Nico can destroy even undead warriors that aren't under his control, which he does with Bryce Lawrence's zombie troops. Whenever he needs a personal chauffeur, Nico summons Jules-Albert, a loyal French zombie. In The Tower of Nero, Nico is able to control an undead Tauri Sylvestres. In The Sun and the Star: A Nico di Angelo Adventure, Nico is able to control the undead in Tartarus to help fight Nyx and her monster army. A few months later, Nico appeared in Percy's fire escape on his birthday to tell him about his plan. He told him Daedalus got his punishment and was about to tell him his plan when he saw blue cake and questioned it. Percy realized he hadn't been to a birthday party before and invited him inside for cake and ice cream, saying they had a lot to discuss. December 16, 2007 - Following a traditional Capture the Flag match with the Hunters of Artemis, Percy, and Thalia have a confrontation. They are interrupted by the Oracle of Delphi, who gives Zoe Nightshade her prophecy.
